Mark your calendars for our first fundraising event, HEROIC. The first “Heroes in Recovery” award will be presented to guest speaker Ryan Leaf. Ryan was a Heisman trophy runner up to Peyton Manning, an NFL and CFL player until injuries resulted in an opioid addiction crisis. Ryan has overcome his addiction and now speaks nationally about his treatment and recovery, and is currently a ESPN College Football analyst.
Join us for a special evening which will include Silent and Live Art Auctions, featuring local and area artists, a Mocktail Competition, Live Music, Raffle, and opportunities to help meet specific “Sangha Needs." Dress is Black Tie Optional.
Much of the evening will feature local artists. For bio information on our gifted, talented and generous artists, visit the Heroic Artists page.
Local artist Callan Dullea has generously donated a custom portrait for the HEROIC Raffle. Callan is a contemporary realist watercolor and oil painter with a focus on portrait and figurative art. Many of his works place people in the center of focus, creating a realistic representation of the human form, using methods that bring a depth and richness to the painting; to bring life to each different fabric and fiber that is represented. Callan will create a commissioned piece of his “portrait and figurative art” no larger than a 20”x20”. The appointment must be made with Callan within six months of the date of the fundraiser at a mutually agreed time.
Purchase a raffle ticket for your chance to win this truly one-of-a-kind treasure. One ticket for $100, three tickets for $250. Winning ticket will be drawn on November 7, 2019. You need not be present to win. Visit callandullea.com for more information.
