How We're Helping

More than just a Sober Living in Tulsa - we are a community-based nonprofit, focused on helping make Tulsa an even stronger, healthier community.  By providing safe, drug and alcohol free living and tons of resources for a successful new start, our residents become productive and socially responsible members of the Tulsa Community.

Save the Date

Mark your calendars for our first fundraising event, HEROIC, will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at Southern Hills Country Club, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.

The guest recipient of the first “Heroes in Recovery” award will be presented to keynote speaker Ryan Leaf. Ryan was a Heisman trophy runner up to Peyton Manning, an NFL and CFL player until injuries resulted in an opioid addiction crisis. Ryan has overcome his addiction and now speaks nationally about his treatment and recovery, and is currently a ESPN College Football analyst.

Join us for a special evening which will include Silent and Live Art Auctions, featuring Local and Area Artists, a Mocktail Competition, Live Music, Raffle, and opportunities to help meet specific “Sangha Needs." Dress is Black Tie Optional.

Be a Sponsor

We ask you to consider supporting us as we stamp out addiction in the Tulsa area. Sponsorship Levels for HEROIC are listed to the right.

Contact Claudia Abernathy at 918-606-7747 or for more information. For sponsorships, please reply by August 1, 2019 to be included in pre-event publicity.

Local artist Callan Dullea has generously donated a custom portrait for the winner of the HEROIC Raffle. Callan is a contemporary realist watercolor and oil painter. Many of his works place people in the center of focus, creating a realistic representation of the human form, using methods that bring a depth and richness to the painting; to bring life to each different fabric and fiber that is represented.

Callan will meet with the lucky winner at a mutually agreed upon time to discuss your custom portrait. Purchase a raffle ticket (one/$100 or three/$250) for your chance to win this truly one-of-a-kind treasure. Winning ticket will be drawn on November 7, 2019. You need not be present to win.

“Sangha is honestly the cleanest sober living house I looked at when I started looking for a home. The house manager and director are nice, and extremely helpful. They are always a phone call away. If you are serious about getting sober, everyone here will help you get sober and stay sober. I know I would be much worse off if I didn’t have this house.” – Paul G.

“I was living in my car before I moved into Sangha, and within a week of moving in I had employment. Within a month I am thinking about returning to school at some point down the road. For the first time since I can remember, I feel hopeful for my future. Dylan and Marcus do whatever they can to help us, and I honestly don’t know where I would be if I chose a different house. It definitely feels like home thanks to these guys.” – Devan P.
